In my goal of playing every brand new, independently developed survival horror game, I came across an early version of a cute little title called You Will Die Here Tonight. And besides the very memorable name, this little upstart indie spook fest made a big impression on me by taking a lot of ques from Resident Evil Gaiden of all places. When you pick up a fresh horror game on steam, you might be expecting a lot of things, but I bet Game Boy era RE gameplay is not one of them. So let’s dive in and see if the title of this one ends up being some kind of a self fulfilling prophecy.
